GENERATIONAL POSSIBILITIES.

DELTA FEST At-A-Glance

DELTA FEST offers three interactive tracks designed to inspire, activate, and support attendees across the Deep South. Sessions are grounded in real-life tools, lived experiences, and visionary thinking.

Below’s a snapshot of the festival agenda. It’s subject to change, but all changes will only make it more impactful.

DELTA FEST will be hosted by Rita Brent.

DELTA FEST opens at the lake, on fertile ground, where we will declare the future we want in word and sound. The Gathering Kickoff features Benjamin Cone III—founder of Worship and lead vocalist of the Mississippi Mass Choir—followed by the thunderous, unifying energy of the Jackson State Sonic Boom Pep Band.

We Have Everything We Need, Fireside Chat with Cortez Bryant

@ Jackson Convention Center | Dinner served

The evening opens with Rita Brent setting the tone, grounding us in a moment that may one day be remembered as the origin story of a movement. Mayor John Horhn will extend Jackson’s welcome, followed by HOPE’s steadfast CEO, Bill Bynum. Poet Amanda Furdge, daughter of the Mississippi Delta, will call us to speak the future into being. As dinner is served, attendees will settle in for a fireside chat with music executive Cortez Bryant, in conversation with Lisa Yancey.

Grounding, Reflection, & Activation

At DELTA FEST, the purpose is crystal clear: to be a gathering ground where information, resources, and opportunities flow to those who live and build in the Deep South. This is not just an event—it is a strategy to catalyze prosperity across the region.

Each day closes with space to connect, build relationships, and identify the opportunities that feel right to pursue. No one leaves empty-handed.

Sept 18: Bill Bynum & Lisa Yancey, Producers and Co-Creators of DELTA FEST, anchoring the room in vision, reciprocal value, and the power of an activated ecosystem moving with intention.
